Far-right agitator Vito Zoppellari Quiles has registered his new pseudo-media outlet under the name of a non-existent company. Combativos.com solicits donations supposedly destined for Combativos SL for the "production of free content and scholarships for young people," but in reality, the money ends up in Quiles's bank account. At @facua, we have discovered that the website's legal notice and privacy policy have indicated for almost a month that the business is owned by a company that is not registered with the Mercantile Registry. The site also conceals the owner's address and tax identification number (NIF), thus violating digital services and data protection laws. Given these irregularities, FACUA has filed a complaint against Quiles with the State Secretariat for Digitalization of the Ministry for Digital Transformation and the Spanish Data Protection Agency. By failing to provide the owner's real identity, address, or tax identification number (NIF), the extremist violates Article 10 of Law 34/2002, of July 11, on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce, and Article 11 of Organic Law 3/2018, of December 5, on the Protection of Personal Data and Guarantee of Digital Rights. In the sections of the website dedicated to the business's legal information, alongside the nonexistent Combativos SL, it states that its activity is the "e-commerce of products related to combat sports and martial arts." When the user enters their information to make a donation, the privacy policy they are referred to indicates that the money will go to the supposed limited company, but the bank account to which they are then invited to make the deposit is in Quiles's name. This is the same account that the extremist has been using to collect money from his followers for years.
