Raul Ferrando feat. Fathi Aljarah - "Yearning" (Drum Interpretation)

Footnotes: 1 - Alright, let's get this out of the way: Arabic music is incredibly rhythmic. This song is no exception. There already is percussion on this track, however, not drum set-percussion. Thus you have this drum INTERPRETATION. What I did here was to try and play to complement the percussion on the track - so at times, I weave in and out of what it's doing. Others, I'm aligned with it. So, you'll hear drums and this is not a "mistake" on my end, but rather letting the existing percussion "breathe". 2 - Random Writing Fact: when working out rhythms and sections for this song, this pattern was originally in the verses. Switching it to the chorus made WAY more sense. 3 - If you're thinking "Eric, your snares are off", you'd be thinking correctly. That's intentional. I never turn them on in the whole song. It didn't seem to make sense sonically to have a snare sound. 4 - Okay, fine, I'll address the elephant in the room: we can call this view "Booty Cam" or "Boxer Cam". Whichever you prefer.
