This week, the three-man toy tour across Los Angeles continues with our second stop, Vintage Selection in Whittier, California - a veritable sofubi paradise, overflowing with more soft vinyl monster figurines than my brain knows how to handle! Godzilla, Hedorah, and Gamera lead an army of monsters, and the glass display cases at Vintage Selection can barely contain their incredible, raw, plastic-y power! In this shop, everywhere you turn your eyeballs there’s another breathtaking collectible grail that you didn’t previously know existed… But vinyl monster madness is only the beginning! Beyond the Ultraman of it all, VS specializes in vintage t-shirts, and also manages to bring the heat with action figures, playsets, plushies, and accessories from the 80s, 90s, and beyond. It’s a whirlwind of a toy hunt, which is why it’s no surprise that I was forced into a Sophie’s Choice come checkout time….
