Why I’m not glorifying the women in “Woman King”
In an unexpected quest of learning more about the “Minos” aka as Dahomey Amazons, I was shocked at what I would learn. This was a journey of telling the truth no matter how much it bruised my ego as a black woman. I despise evil no matter what skin it’s in and I know we have better stories to tell. If we are to learn from history we must be honest about it, truth is we are all imperfect beings and all I’m saying just be honest about that so we can learn from it and move forward.
