Imaginary Friend (Short Film)

As a film student, I am required to take what is known as 'The Block'. We go in depth on the process of film making, learning pre-production, production, and post production. In pre-production, we essentially prepare for the film, which includes writing the script and drawing out storyboards. Then comes production, where you and a team film your story as well as their own. We were taught how to use the lighting equipment and the camera (a film camera that uses real film). Then, finally, we bring it to the editing bay and use Avid to put together our movie. The amount I learned and the people I met along the way was so memorable to me that I couldn't help but share my end product with everyone. That said, this is a story about an imaginary friend who struggles to stay relevant to his owner who is growing up. For this being one of my first short films, I am very proud of it and hope you can enjoy it as much as I enjoyed the process of making it.
