Highlights from Cameroon

At Embrace Global, we believe life-saving warmth should reach every baby who needs it, no matter where they enter the world. Complications from prematurity remain the leading cause of death among children under five, with hypothermia being one of the leading contributors to neonatal mortality. Many of these deaths are preventable. In low-resource settings, newborns routinely go without reliable thermal care, and the gap between need and access costs lives. Embrace Global addresses neonatal hypothermia through a model built on three pillars: training, equipment, and partnership. We work alongside ministries of health, frontline clinicians, and communities to strengthen sustainable systems that keep babies warm. Our low-power, portable, reusable infant warmer is designed for the settings others overlook: rural hospitals, conflict zones, ambulances, and referral centers. It works where electricity is unreliable and traditional incubators are out of reach. Embrace infant warmers have reached more one million babies across 30 countries. Yet, there are still millions more who cannot wait for life-saving warmth. Learn more at embraceglobal.org IG: @embraceglobal Contact us at [email protected]
