Replace a Membrane in a CDL Reverse Osmosis Machine

Every now and again your RO (reverse osmosis) machine stops performing. When that happens, which is normally in the middle of the season, it is good to have a replacement handy and ready to go in. We have already soaked our membrane overnight in permeate (water this part of the RO process). Now it's time to install it in the tower. This is where I wish I had help. The posts are a little awkward and definitely heavy. Our two post Reverse Osmosis machine is made by a Canadian company, CDL. They manufacture all sorts of maple related products. What this machine does is split the water from the sugar/minerals and by doing so, creates a "concentrate" of sugar. This helps us reduce the boil times when we make maple syrup. Today we change out the membrane and continue Reverse Osmosing the next batch of water so we can make more organic maple syrup. Thanks for watching!
