Dragon Ball Z: Battle Of Z - Any% Speedrun 3:05:11 (WORLD RECORD)

#dragonballz #dragonballzgames #speedrun One of my favorite games. Been meaning to do some more speedruns, but was unsure. And here we go, my speedrun of Dragon Ball Z: Battle Of Z. Time of run: 3 hours, 5 minutes, 11 seconds. Everything went quite smooth, up until Mission 58 where the AI kept getting a Ring Out. And I also got quite lucky during Mission 50 where Hirudegarn one shot all my allies and it nearly made me restart the mission. Thankfully that wasn't the case! Super Saiyan 3 Goku is the most round character who accels in a lot of things, and here is why. Dragon Break: is an attack that has insane range and does a lot of damage. Takes almost all the health of weaker enemies and takes nearly half the health of stronger enemies. Teleportation Attack: Instant Transmission to teleport towards the enemy and if you press the prompt right after you've teleported, Goku releases a shock wave right after which can hit all nearby enemies. This was especially useful in missions where enemies spawn together and don't move right away. But it also helps when you frame perfect the move on an enemy that gets up. The special cards I used on him, were Fighter's Pride and Ultra Combination Crash. They both gave the right buffs I needed. Now you might've noticed that I chose Ultimate Gohan in certain missions where you fight against Giants. That is because of his 'Ultimate Knuckle' attack. It has the same properties as 'Dragon Break', but it does more damage. And that is an Ultimate Gohan build WITHOUT the Fighter's Pride card equipped. All in all, Ultimate Gohan is one of the better characters to beat up Giants with. Another character I was meaning to use was LSSJ Broly, who I could've done the WHOLE run with probably. His moves are insanely good, has incredible melee strength and a TON of HP too. The only things he lacks is blast power and energy recovery, which is not a problem because you have cards to fix that for him. This is my first actual full run that I've done without any resets and whatever. I've done a couple of test runs, but nothing where I went from start to finish. I'd actually be interested in doing a full on New Game speedrun too, but at the moment I'll just see what I'll do next.
