Determination of TFM (Total Fatty Matter) in Soap Sample_A Complete Procedure (ISO 685 & IS 286)

Total fatty matter (TFM) is the total amount of fatty matter, which can be isolated from a soap (bar soap and liquid soap) by acid treatment followed by the extraction with Hexane or petroleum ether. Soaps containing low TFM content strip water from the skin, causing it to become dry. This video represents a detailed procedure for the determination of total fatty matter in a soap sample. __________________________________________________________________________________________ Follow us on Social Networks to Stay Connected: YouTube:    / @microchemsexperiments   Facebook Page: https://www.facebook.com/pg/MicroChems-Exp...
