The 45-Second Pizza Oven and Other Robotic Cooking Hacks
Avidan Ross wanted to create the perfect pizza. 90-seconds is a pretty good benchmark for great crust and delicious toppings, but he figured an even tighter cooking cycle would best that benchmark. There's only one way to find the best mix of cooking time and temperature: science! His approach was to build a robotic pizza oven that senses temperature and precisely controls its sources. The result is a 45-second cooking cycle that varies the temperature during the process for that perfect slice. This, and other robotic cooking hacks are discussed by Avidan during his talk at the 2016 Hackaday SuperConference.
