As a trans woman, I feel compelled to speak out against the direction the queer movement is taking and the drift many narratives that supposedly represent us are taking. I'm not speaking solely from personal experience. Many trans women have written to me privately to tell me they deeply identify with what I think and express in other videos of mine, and certainly in this one as well. Women who, like me, don't feel represented by the current LGBTQ+ movement or by the approach of the queer movement. This reflection doesn't come from ego, but from the desire to give a voice to a segment of the community that is often silenced or ignored. I analyze the recent setback in the United Kingdom regarding the change of sex on the register, a measure that directly attacks the rights of transgender people. This step backward is no coincidence: it is the consequence of years of confusion, diluted discourse, and a total lack of self-criticism within the community. Queer activism has ended up making our realities invisible, erasing the boundaries that protected hard-won rights. Today I want to say what many think but few dare to express. We can no longer tolerate our identities being used as meaningless and directionless political pawns. Part of the problem is that our deeply human and medical reality has been used as a political weapon. Transgenderism shouldn't be an ideological battleground, but sadly it is. Transgender people in positions of power or visibility, like Mar Cambrollé or Carla Antonelli, have adopted a discourse completely aligned with the queer movement, contributing to this distortion and dehumanization of our experiences. Instead of defending the real and specific rights of transgender people, they have preferred to dilute our needs in a political agenda that neither represents nor protects us. This video is a firm, sincere, and necessary critique. Because it's not about excluding anyone, but rather about protecting what we've achieved.
