All Carbon Lamborghini Temerario GT3 Testing at Misano: Start Up, Accelerations & Sound!

I was pretty sure I would be able to record the Lamborghini Temerario GT3 of V.S.R. Vincenzo Sospiri Racing before the season started and in fact last week the Italian team was at Misano World Circuit during a test organised by Kateyama in order to prepare the car's debut in the 2026 GT World Challenge Sprint Cup. The Temerario GT3 is Lamborghini's new racing car, developed entirely by Squadra Corse for competitions starting in 2026. The car is powered by the same 4.0-litre, twin-turbocharged V8 engine as the road car, suitably modified for racing and deprived of the hybrid system. It should be capable of producing around 550 hp, adjusted according to the class' Balance of Performance. I'm starting to get used to filming this car and I'm really enjoying the way it handles and looks from track-side. You can really see that it's a step above the Huracán. But I can't be on the same wavelength when it comes to its sound, now that I heard it again but sharing the track with the old V10s. Uunfortunately it's not a question of muffled/unmuffled but a combination of how the engine and its components has been developed for this car. From what I could see up close in this occasion, the exhaust has no mufflers but only two racing cats placed at the end of it. It's unlikely that removing them will cause a drastic change in loudness and tone, also because I managed to listen to a couple of warm ups that day, without catalytic converters (the final part of the exhaust is directly attached to the rear bumper/block of the car for quick changes and repairs in the event of a crash during the race and consequently by removing it also removes the two cats), but the idle and start up sound was exactly the same. If for some reason you perceive the car to be louder here than in the video I posted from Monza, well.. it's not.
