For 100 years, WGN Radio has brought unforgettable events and emotional moments to listeners across the Chicago region — and beyond. Founded on May 19, 1922 by Thorne Donnelley and Elliott Jenkins as WDAP and, in 1924, purchased by Col. Robert R.
