While Burst Limiter Override is still a subpar keystone when compared to alternatives, it does have a couple of weapons it interact very favorably with - either Crit oriented Achlys or Bleed and Fire Ripper. Crit Achlys is exactly as it sounds - by utilizing the Keystone, Massacre and Crit perk on the weapon we can get respectable 25% Crit Chance, which works well with stubber and Achlys especially thanks to their unique Crit Chain mechanic (when triggered crit will impact the next 6 bullets). Crits also improve damage and offer mini-rending, which translates to Achlys overall higher DPS than seen on paper. Add to that the big mag, Charmed Reload and Light’em Up! And you get yourself an ammo hungry, but beastly weapon that can easily swipe entire mobs of the face of Tertium. Alternatively, the legendary, meme-worthy Bleed Ripper exists as well as a suprisingly solid option. With Cavalcade, Flechette and Crit Perk you can reach above 40% Crit Chance, and while using the Point-Blank Barrage with fire ammo you can stack both Bleed and Burn on your targets, absolutely melting any boss in sight as well as decimating mixed hordes with surprising ease. It’s is however a huge ammo hog and will require some good game sense to know when to switch from your melee to use it to best potential. Maximum Firepower is a huge player here - together with Bruiser and maxed out Keystone this setup basically resets your Point-Blank Barrage on use, as long as you managed to unleash it into a target rich environment. The uptime on the ability should be pretty much constant, enabling you a very agressive way to play - as long as Emperor is generous with his ammo drops across the map. When it comes to alternative routes, both have their benefits. Reloaded and Ready grants some good damage boost to a Ripper, while Steady Grip is a very good survival tool for any gun-totting ogryn. Too Stubborn to Die, alternatively, doubles any toughness gain you can generate when low on HP, turning your Smash’em! and Bullet Bravado into tool of extreme survivability.
