A preview screening and completion talk event for the first episode of the drama "Masamune-kun Who Wants to Be Happy" was held. Cast members Motoki Nakazawa, Shiori Akita, and Nagisa Saito appeared on stage. In keeping with the drama's theme of the protagonist being "hooked" on something, the question was posed: "What is something you're 'hooked' on in your private life, something you love so much you can't get out of?" Nakazawa answered "rice crackers," and Akita answered "negative ions." Akita surprised the audience by revealing, "When I have time off with friends, I crave negative ions and end up going to waterfalls and other natural places. Yesterday, I decided to go to Shizuoka with a friend around 5 PM. And then at 8 PM, we ate at Sawayaka (a ramen restaurant). I'm very proactive, so I often do things on a whim at night." Saito answered "Shoujo manga" (girls' manga). She explained, "I've become incredibly obsessed with shoujo manga, and I've been reading a ton of them since around the end of last year. I've always liked them since I was a child, but reading shoujo manga as an adult really makes my heart flutter," she said excitedly.
