He and his family visited Pakistan many times and had seen the birth place of Khashwant Singh. MOHAMMAD ALI ASAD BHATTI was his close friend. Although he met Khashwant Singh only once but they were in close contact to one another telephonically and via post. A lot of letters were exchanged between them. MOHAMMAD ALI ASAD BHATTI is companion of many writers and arranged a library on the name of KHASHWANT SINGH.
