How To Make Jackin House Beats On Maschine + Ableton Live
Binofski AKA Leroy Amphlett creates a Jackin House beat using both Maschine and then Ableton Live and demonstrates the importance of using swing and quantise on independent sections of each drum track. Here he shows you how to program a Jackin House beat and where kicks, snares, hats, rims and other percussive elements should land to give you that authentic house music feel. Leroy shows us both the step sequencer and matrix sequencer to give us a clear demonstration of programming and making a Jackin House beat. Once he has implemented swing in Maschine he demonstrates how to split the individual drum tracks in Ableton and apply swing to each track using Ableton's groove pools.
