Mazda Protege VTCS Delete EP. 5 - Pt. I

In episode 5, I demonstrate how to delete the restrictive Variable Tumbler Control System or VTCS for short. The Protege could use some extra HP since most economy cars are set up for economy and comfort. Since engine pumping losses are the Protege's biggest enemy for more power, deleting the VTCS system helps by freeing up airflow for better response, acceleration and higher speeds. In addition to deleting the VTCS system, I also demonstrate an effective method for cleaning the intake manifold in preparation for some light port work.
