Flightscope Mevo+ D Plane Explained
Recently Flightscope announced that it will be adding the Fusion Tracking technology to their entry level unit, Mevo+. This now makes the Mevo+ a mid-tier unit reading both ball and club data. The Fusion Tracking technology will give the Mevo+ the capability to add several club data parameters. With the new data points you will be able to get the D plane like you would on a trackman or X3 unit. The D plane is made up of the face angle/dynamic loft and the angle of attack/swing path. You must understand it to use it appropriately and I hope this video educates you on whether the new data points are worth the upgrade to you or not. I am using the Flightscope X3 unit along with the VX app to help me explain.
