Magnetic Shifter Mods have been around for a while now, and supposedly offer a significant improvement in the feel of the paddles on your wheel by using neodymium magnets to create a much more aggressive snap back into position. To be honest I had always been pretty happy with how my Fanatec Formula V2 and BMW GT2 wheels felt, so I never really felt the need to upgrade them, but Marc from MB Studio very graciously reached out and offered to send me a set of his magnetic shifters for both my V2 and BMW GT2 wheels, so I decided to give them a go!
