En : Fix: 1st frame non-stop issue, repair guide for Hasselblad A12, A16, and A24 film backs
What my camera repair team and I are most proud of is that we can service Hasselblad 1000F, 200, and 2000 series cameras — models that almost no one can repair anymore. My team and I feel great knowing we’ve already restored at least 300 of them to working condition. That’s not counting the 500 series, 500 EL motorized series, or SWC series, which together probably exceed 3,000 units by now. My team and I aren’t bragging that we can fix them, because others can too. But there are still many models that other technicians might not be able to repair, and we just want to say: we can help solve your problem. Our service rates are fair and lower than the global market average. Repairs take two to five days, including testing of the camera, lens, and other equipment before returning them to the owner. You can contact us for inquiries and get a free repair estimate through our website today at no cost. https://www.hassypb.com/fix-hasselbla... PLEASE NOTE: The usage of WD40 is not normally condoned. This is an instructional video of how YOU can fix your Hasselblad in a pinch, and when you’re in a pinch, WD40 can be ok to use. That said WD40 should ONLY be used in a temporary manner, as a band aid. If WE use WD40 on a formal camera repair, we only use it on severely jammed components to break apart gunk. Then it is meticulously cleaned off, and replaced with a proprietary lubricant made for fine instruments. (We use several types depending on the part, for instance, the oil used on shutters is not the same as what is used on gears) I made this video to show all Hasselblad users how to fix the issue where the film magazine doesn't stop at the first frame. This instructional video covers the A12, A16, and A24 film backs. Other film magazines are quite similar, but there are minor differences in the details. For some of A12, A16, A24, and A32 late models, you must remove the dark slide holder first. The screws that hold the dark slide holder are inside the shell, so you’ll need to remove the insert to access them. Once that’s done, you can follow the rest of this instructional video. After you’ve completed the repair and reattached the dark slide holder, keep in mind that most dark slide holders can crack when you screw them back into place. So tighten the screws slowly and carefully to avoid damage. #clahasselblad #fixfilmback #hasselbladrepair
