Spectacular Black Hole!

This piece is the largest in my Black Hole series. Done on a wooden, 12”x12” canvas. I started with my pearl mix as my base paint. That mix contains Deco Art satin enamel, Artist Loft acrylic, American Floetrol, GAC800 and Liquidtex Gloss Pouring Medium. All the acrylics I used were mixed approx one part paint to three parts American Floetrol. I used Amsterdam, Pebeo and Liquidtex Basics paints. My cell activator was a mix of Amsterdam Lamp Black and Australian Floetrol. I can’t tell you the exact ratio, but can say it’s a thicker mix than most make. It has a 1.5 second trace when done and coats the mixing stick easily. I use a thinner cell activator in for other painting styles. Make sure you use a thick pillow of your base paint (pearl mix) as so much will blow off the canvas when you blow it out. Thank you so much for watching! Please subscribe and hit the like button.
