Law as a Service for All | Olga Mack | TEDxCherryCreek

Although law rules and governs just about every aspect of our lives, our relationship with the law is dysfunctional. We have collectively bought into the myth of informed consent and legal ignorance. Mindlessly clicking 'I agree,' or 'I Allow' and the like is normal. Every industry is finding new innovative ways to enhance the customer experience. Why not law?! With all the technology out there such as searches, websites, location services, and GPS tracking the law should be more helpful. Our legal experiences, whether they are delivered by a public or private entity, must be designed first and foremost to serve everyone. Olga V. Mack will share her future of law framework for how we all can drive change by effectively collaborating with technology. Olga V. Mack is the CEO of Parley Pro, a next-generation contract management company that has pioneered digital negotiation technology. She embraces legal innovation and had dedicated her career to improving and shaping the future of law. Olga is convinced that law must be of service and that we will emerge even stronger, more resilient, and more inclusive than before by embracing technology. She shares her views in Forbes, Newsweek, Venture Beat, Bloomberg, and Above the Law. She lectures at Berkeley Law and has received numerous awards for her work, including the Silicon Valley Women of Influence and Women Leaders in Technology Law. She is a fellow of CodeX, the Stanford Law Center for Legal Informatics, and a fellow of the College of Law Practice Management. Visual IQ for Lawyers, Olga’s fifth book will be published by the American Bar Association in 2023. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
