Classic Kermode: Last Days
2005 was not a great year for the Good Doctor: He had to endure Rob Zombie's The Devil's Rejects, the first Terry Gilliam heartbreak with The Brothers Grimm, the infuriating schmaltz of Elizabethtown, the glamorization of football hooliganism with Green Street, and of course, the numerological Kabbalistic claptrap that was Guy Ritchie's Revolver. But none of these films got under Dr. Kermode's skin like Last Days, his worst film of 2005.
