Determination of gloss value at 20°, 60°, and 85°. NTC 592, corresponding to ISO 2813:2014. Gloss is the optical property of a surface, characterized by its ability to reflect light specularly. The perceived gloss of a surface depends on the viewing angle, which is measured from the vertical line perpendicular to the plane of the surface. The glossmeter offers measurements at 20°, 60°, and 85° for better differentiation according to the substrate's gloss level: matte, semi-matte, semi-gloss, gloss, and high gloss.
