We came to Córdoba, Spain for the ancient Mezquita — but the food completely blindsided us. Join us as we eat our way through 2,200 years of culinary history, from peasant dishes born in Roman times to mind-blowing modern Spanish cuisine. Córdoba is the most underrated food destination in all of Spain. Hidden inside its maze of whitewashed streets and UNESCO-listed monuments is a food scene that tells the city's entire living history — one plate at a time. We discovered Rabo de Toro (oxtail stew) simmered in Montilla-Moriles wine, the creamiest Salmorejo Cordobés you'll ever taste, and an iconic Berenjenas con Miel that connects directly to Córdoba's Moorish past.
