Hiking from Ebenalp to Seealpsee Part 1 (Ebenalp to Füessler) | June 2022【4K】

Join me on the first part of an invigorating #ASMR #hike from Ebenalp to Seealpsee in the Alpstein massif a group of peaks in the Appenzell Innerrhoden, Appenzell Ausserrhoden and St. Gallen cantons. The full hike takes us from the mountain cable car station on Ebenalp, past the famous Berggasthaus Aescher, and Chlus to our highest point at the top of Schäfler, before descending back into the valley below past Altenalp to the shore of Seealpsee. In this first video, we hike from the cable car station on Ebenalp, past Berggasthaus Aescher and along the side of the mountains to Füessler. We start the hike at the cable car station looking across the valleys below in the direction that we have just come on the cable car. Turning, we walk around the cable car station and join the well marked path that leads us down onto the side of the mountain, through the caves of Prähistorische Siedlung Wildkirchli to the world famous Berggasthaus Aescher, which is literally built into the side of the cliffs. Passing through the patio of the guesthouse, we continue along the path as it undulates along the side of the hill. Looking down and to our left, we can occasionally catch glimpses through the trees of the turquoise waters of Seealpsee far below us. We finish this portion of the hike in a small wooded area at the junction of 4 trails, on of which will lead us on the next part of our hike.
