Trains at: Exeter St Davids - B-E Line - 23/6/18

Welcome back to my 'Trains at' series and the first of two from my Cornwall Trip 2018. This video is from Exeter St Davids located on the Bristol - Exeter Line between Tiverton Parkway and Exeter St Thomas. Exeter St Davids was a fantastic station to trainspot at on a sunny, summer Saturday. I found the views from the station to be quite good: the best being the view of the line off to Exeter Central from the south end of Platform 5. The frequency of services was pretty good, but most trains either reverse or sit in the station for a while, and the range of traction was great. The best capture was seeing a Class 57 hauling a rake of 3 GWR green coaches terminating from St Erths. I also saw some special liveried trains including: a Class 153 'Visit South Devon', an Intercity liveried HST and a BR liveried HST 'Sir Kenneth Grange'. Overall a great station to visit - especially in the summer! Includes: Great Western Railway: Class 153's, 150's (150/0 & /2), 143's, a 57 and Class 43's. CrossCountry: Class 221 & 220 'Voyagers' South Western Railway Class 159's
