A year since the violent Eswatini pro-democracy protests: Alpheous Nxumalo
It's been a year since a violent clampdown in Eswatini on pro-democracy activists that left dozens of people dead, many injured and several arrested. Citizens marched at the time for changes in the country, demanding more democracy and less executive power being held by the King. To tell us more about the situation in Eswatini and the progress made regarding reforms 12 months after the deadly protests, we spoke earlier to The Eswatini government Spokesperson Alpheous Nxumalo.
