熊本震災から10年　長崎バイオパークがYouTubeで記憶を発信

Nagasaki Bio Park in Saikai City, Nagasaki Prefecture, attracted many families from both within and outside the prefecture during the Golden Week holidays. Amidst the nationwide attention on information dissemination through social media, Bio Park is currently producing a video with a special meaning. Its official YouTube channel regularly posts videos capturing the daily lives and ecology of its animals, boasting approximately 626,000 subscribers. This places it among the top theme parks and zoos nationwide. The "Animal Kingdom" petting zoo, located on the grounds of Aso Farm Land in Kumamoto Prefecture, is operated by Bio Park and houses approximately 170 animals of 30 different species, including beavers and capybaras. President Kimitaka Kamichika visited the facility to film a special project. Ten years have passed since the Kumamoto earthquake. The memories of the disaster, overcome by the staff and animals, will be conveyed through Bio Park's video, sharing with many people as a lesson that must not be forgotten. (Broadcast May 6, 2026)
