Utebo is a Spanish town and municipality in the province of Zaragoza, in the autonomous community of Aragon. The municipality, located in the Central Region, of which it is the capital, has a population of 18,881 inhabitants (INE 2022), making it the third most populated in the province after the provincial capital and Calatayud, and the fifth most populated town in the autonomous community. The Church of Our Lady of the Assumption was built in two phases, the first in the 16th century in the Gothic-Mudejar style and the second during the 18th century in the Baroque style. It has a beautiful Mudejar tower, known as the "Tower of Mirrors," due to its ceramic ornamentation with more than 8,000 tiles. Considered one of the most beautiful in Aragon, it is represented in the Spanish Village of Zaragoza. Inside the church, the main altarpiece, made of gilded wood, is dedicated to the Virgin. It is a Baroque-Rococo work from the 18th century. There are two other altarpieces dedicated to the Immaculate Conception and the Sacred Heart.
