My Fork Felt Harsh… So I Changed 2 Clicks

After my Fox 38 fork service, the front end of my Specialized Kenevo felt different on rough, rooty trails. So for this ride, I changed the fork’s high-speed compression by 2 clicks, moving it from 4 clicks from open back to my old setting of 2 clicks from open, to see if I could actually feel the difference on real terrain. This wasn’t a lab test or a perfect back-to-back comparison — just a proper real-world ride on rocky, rooty Northumberland off-piste trails to find out whether 2 clicks of HSC made the bike feel calmer, more controlled, or just different. The main question was simple: Can you actually feel 2 clicks of fork adjustment on the trail?
