The Catfish Bite Was On | Secret Bait Experiment

In this video, I hit the river after recent storms finally brought the water level up. Eastern North Carolina has been dealing with extremely low water and drought conditions for months, so when the river started rising, I knew the catfish fishing could get good fast. The bite turned on and the catfish were feeding hard. I caught multiple catfish using eel for bait, but the wildest part of the trip came when I caught a channel catfish and decided to try something different. Do catfish eat catfish? I put that question to the test with a secret bait experiment, and what happened next made this trip one I won’t forget. This was a 58-minute long-form catfish fishing adventure full of river fishing, night fishing, eel bait action, channel catfish, flathead catfish, and rising water conditions. If you enjoy catfishing, flathead fishing, blue catfish fishing, river fishing, or testing different catfish baits, this video is for you. Catfish can be unpredictable, but when the water level changes and bait starts moving, the bite can get serious. This trip shows how quickly conditions can turn on and how experimenting with different baits can lead to some of the most exciting moments on the water. Thanks for watching 4REEL Fishing.
