The One "Health Food" That Actually Works
Almost every health food on the shelf oversells you. Oats are the rare exception. The claim that they lower cholesterol is one of the most tested, most repeated findings in all of nutrition, and it holds up. This video covers where that effect comes from, the sticky fibre that does the work, the daily amount you actually need, and the catch nobody mentions: the flavoured sachets can carry as much sugar as a dessert, quietly working against the very thing you bought them for.
