I repaired a WA-33, a small stereo zero-handle boombox released in 1982. I like it because it's portable, yet provides stable tape playback, and its built-in speaker means no headphones are needed. Unlike smartphones, it's offline and runs on AA batteries, making it a useful device even today in emergencies.
