Several thousand people gathered this Sunday in Pamplona's Town Hall Square, organized by the UPN (National Union of Socialists), to reject the motion of no confidence presented by EH Bildu, PSN (Socialist Party of Spain), Geroa Bai (Geroa Bai), and Contigo-Zurekin (Contigo-Zurekin) against the mayor of the Navarrese capital, Cristina Ibarrola (UPN), who will give way to a city council led by Joseba Asiron of EH Bildu. Under the slogan "Pamplona is not for sale," holding signs reading "Memory, dignity, and justice" and chanting "Asiron kanpora (out)" and "Ibarrola you are not alone," the protest—led by the president of UPN, Javier Esparza, and the mayor herself—was joined by parties such as the PP (People's Party), with its president, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, accompanying the Navarrese leadership, and Vox, with the presence of the vice president of Castile and León, Juan García-Gallardo. Ibarrola, who addressed the audience, addressed Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez, asserting that this is "the worst thing that has ever happened to this country, the worst."
