2025 Arctic Adventure: part 1

In June 2025 we joined the Art Safari Arctic Adventure to Svalbard. The only practical (and affordable) way to reach the archipelago well above the Arctic circle is to fly. Gathering in Oslo, the adventure started with flights to Longyearbyen to set sail aboard 'SV Noorderlicht', the beautiful Dutch steel schooner. Part 1 traces our adventure from London to Ny-Ålesund. Part 2 tells the story of our return to Longyearbyen.
