M.A.L — the trio formed by Mat, Alejo and Lothar — took the festival stage for the first time and delivered a deep melodic house set that had the energy of people who genuinely love what they do. M.A.L is a project built on friendship and a shared taste for deep, melodic electronic music. The three of them behind the decks at the same time brings something that a solo DJ set rarely has: spontaneity, chemistry, and the kind of joy that the crowd can feel. This was the opening day of Espresso Club at Billboard Summer Festival 2025 — our first ever festival edition. And M.A.L opened it the right way. It can happen on a Sunday afternoon, with natural light, a great coffee, surrounded by art and people searching for something more.
