PHILIPS 940 MUSIC CENTRE, FROM 1978
This 40 year old Philips was in a bit of a state when it arrived. But, with a bit of TLC, most of its troubles can be repaired. It now has a new set of belts, and needed all the Philips GOO cleaning first. It's an ongoing project, the white casings had all suffered from time and were discoloured. So they'll be turned out in 70's orange. Still a few bits to do to revive the old thing mind. Including a new play/record head, which has made a vast improvement.
