USSR forces Finland out of the war | WW2 | World Conqueror 4

On June 10, 1944, in an effort to force Finland out of the war and eliminate the threat to Leningrad, Soviet forces launched the Vyborg Offensive. The Leningrad Front concentrated its superior forces and, with the support of intense artillery fire, broke through two Finnish defensive lines within ten days, capturing Vyborg on June 20. However, the Finnish forces retreated to the VKT defensive line and mounted a stubborn resistance, preventing the Soviet forces from achieving their objective of destroying the Finnish forces. This operation was the fourth of the Soviet forces' "Ten Blows", eliminating the threat to Leningrad's northern flank and thus accelerating Finland's withdrawal from the war. Welcome to Strategy Over Numbers. Here, we do not fight battles with sheer numbers, but with technology, placement and battlefield manipulation.
