PUNE to MALSHEJ Ghat By Car : A Monsoon Scenic Drive In this video we will be showing you not only the beauty of the route of the road trip from Pune to Malshej but also the food places, journey details, tolls (actually none), traffic situation and other details. Malshej is the monsoon paradise of Maharashtra and many flock around here during the rains to witness the magic. Many of you must have travelled or seen the road trip from from Mumbai to Malshej but this one in our opinion is one of the best road trips in Maharashtra. Pune to Malshej Ghat which is a journey of around 120 to 130 Kms and takes around 3 to 4 hrs to travel. We have to pass through Chakan, Narayangaon and Junnar to reach Malshej Ghat. We faced heavy Rainfall in Chakan and some traffic too which was a dampener. We saw fields of flowers like marigold, vegetables like cauliflower, cabbage, tomatoes etc and fruits like grapes of Marigold or Zendu as we call it in Maharashtra. Outside the city we took a break at Akash Misal House which has been here since 1972. From Narayangaon we moved to Junnar. On the way to Junnar, with beautiful roads, greenery on both sides and grapevines. The Fort Shivneri at Junnar is the birthplace of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. We witnessed beautiful and well maintained roads with greenery on both sides, easily the best road trip in Maharashtra. One gets an awesome rural feeling with pastures all around and cloud clad lovely mountains in the background. Malshej receives visitors from everywhere Mumbai Nashik Ahmednagar now Ahilyanagar and of Course Pune. It is almost equidistant from each of these places.
