Honda MTX 80 – Teil 4 | Motoranpassung & absoluter Zündungs-Fail 😵‍💫

In what is currently the final installment of my Honda MTX 80 restoration series, I'm tackling the last tasks on the engine. The cylinder head is being modified to ensure a proper fit for the exhaust manifold. I also had to mill out the intake port for the reed valve at the cylinder base to allow for correct installation. Of course, things don't always go smoothly: I mistakenly used the ignition system of the MTX 80 with that of a Sachs 506 – a classic mechanic's error that happened in the heat of the moment. Embarrassing, but honestly admitted. In the end, the engine runs – but not quite as it should. Therefore, there will be an additional, concluding installment where I address the remaining issues. 👉 In this video: Cylinder head modification Milling work on the cylinder base (reed valve intake) Ignition mix-up & troubleshooting First engine run Preview of the final part 👍 If you enjoy this honest, hands-on approach to car mechanics, please give it a like! 🔔 Subscribe to the channel so you don't miss the final part! 💬 Share your own experiences or tips in the comments!
