History Bounding a Chatelaine
History Bounding is a fairly recent term for living your best Historically Inspired life, and letting your love of times past permeate into your everyday. I am taking the general concept of a simple late Victorian/early Edwardian chatelaine and using it to carry my small, more modern EDC items. I want to capture the sounds, the feel, and the intent of these glorious and very handy accessories. This is not a complete history of Chatelaines, nor does it even begin to cover all the different types of items found on them. Chatelaines have a history spanning several centuries and, although extremely fascinating and quite possibly the most beautiful way to hold one's tools ever invented, a super detailed look at them is not the purpose of this specific video. (If you would like a great way to spend a couple of days, make a Google or Pinterest search for Chatelaines and enjoy.) If it inspires you to create your own, tag me over on Instagram, I would love to see it! Let's be historically minded friends on Instagram! / bryce.historically music by epidemic sound.com
