MY BEST CARP SESSION EVER - 40LB UK CARP!

In February, I went over to the Met’s lake next to Thorny Weir for a quick two-day session, and honestly, it turned into one of those trips you don’t forget in a hurry. I ended up tucked away in a quiet little corner and just kept things simple, using the Bushwhacker to stay nice and accurate. It all sort of came together, and over the session I managed to land seven carp, with a couple of proper ones in there up to 40lb. There’s no big secret or overcomplication in this one, just trying to find a quiet area, keep disturbance low, and make the most of the time I had on the bank. It’s proper early-season fishing, and hopefully there’s a few little takeaways in there that might help you on your own sessions.
