The first case relates to restrictive covenants on a shareholding in the largest advertising group in the Middle East. The second relates to the charge for overstaying in a car park. The Supreme Court allows Cavendish’s appeal in Cavendish v El Makdessi and dismisses Mr Beavis’ appeal in ParkingEye v Beavis, thus upholding the validity of the disputed clauses in both cases.
