He Will Care for Your Practical Needs

Did you think I would now send you out without what you need and let you faint along the way after you've spent this time with Me? Did you think I'd let you sit at my feet then just say - well, you're on your own now? I'm not going to let you come to My house and then send you home hungry. Jesus was and is a gentleman. He is a proper host. A gracious one. He won't meet your spiritual needs and then just send you on your way and ignore your practical ones. Matthew 15:32, 37, 39 Then Jesus called his disciples and told them, “I feel sorry for these people. They have been here with me for three days, and they have nothing left to eat. I don’t want to send them away hungry, or they will faint along the way.” ...They all ate as much as they wanted...Then Jesus sent the people home... Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. (KJV) Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. (NLT) James 2:15 Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you tells him, “Go in peace; stay warm and well fed,” but does not provide for his physical needs, what good is that? So too, faith by itself, if it does not result in action, is dead.
