Comas: capturan a alias 'Chucho', presunto brazo armado de 'El Monstruo'

Agents of the Peruvian National Police (PNP) arrested a man with alleged ties to Erick Moreno Hernández, believed to be the armed wing of the criminal gang 'Los Injertos del Norte' (The Northern Grafts). The arrest took place at a residence located at kilometer 12 of Tupac Amaru Avenue, in the district of Comas. In an interview with Buenos Días Perú, Colonel Holger Obando, head of the Extortion Investigation Division, explained that they received intelligence indicating the criminals were reorganizing to commit crimes such as contract killings, extortion, and kidnapping. Detainees and Background The detainees were identified as Jorge Aldair Quiñonez Velásquez (27), alias 'Chucho', who has four prior arrests for illegal firearms trafficking and is linked to the criminal gang led by alias 'El Monstruo' (The Monster). His partner, Margorie Nicole Cabezas Teodoro (27), alias 'Margorie', was also arrested, along with Higgh Lander Banda Ñaupari (26), alias 'Yuli', and María Cristina Teodoro Mora (47), alias 'Mari', all with criminal records. Explosive material found Obando explained that Quiñonez Velásquez and Cabezas Teodoro had outstanding arrest warrants, the latter implicated in the robbery and kidnapping of a Chinese citizen in 2022. The colonel also stated that explosive material was found during the operation.
