1/350 HobbyBoss Typhoon SSBN Build & Review.

This build was diabolical. Here are the painting steps I had to go through: I first primed it, then painted it black. Then I sanded a few areas and painted it black again. Next, I painted the details on the conning tower, only to repaint it black one more time to fix my mistakes. Then I repainted all the details, added the bright radioactive red, and realized I still had to paint the white boot stripe. So I did the only rational thing and painted the WHOLE SUBMARINE BLACK AGAIN. Then I painted it white just so I could mask the 1.5 mm boot stripe. After that, I painted the whole thing black AGAIN. Then I painted the details on the conning tower, made a mistake, repainted the entire conning tower black, and painted all the details again. Only then could I mask the whole submarine once more and spray the red—this time in the correct shade. Then I applied the horrible decals, and only after that did I apply my homemade semi-matte varnish to the upper hull, only to realize that some weird frost spots were appearing. So I had to wipe them off and re-varnish the model again. AND ONLY THEN COULD I CALL IT *F I N I S H E D*!
