Hotel Bernerhof Review - Grindelwald, Switzerland, Swiss Alps Lodge

In today's video we're taking you on a tour and review of the Hotel Bernerhof in the ski town of Grindelwald. We're staying at the Hotel Bernerhof for 2 nights and giving you a full tour and review of this perfectly situated budget hotel in the Swiss Alps. Located right in the heart of Grindelwald, this hotel is perfectly situated for exploring the mountains and ski slopes as well as checking out Grindelwald and the surrounding area. Directly opposite the hotel you have the leisure centre which offers hotel guests access to some of the facilities free of charge, including the swimming pool. The hotel is also a 2 minute walk from the main train station and directly opposite the bus station. The lifts to the mountains are only a short, free bus ride away or you can take the train up the mountains should you wish. The hotel comes with free breakfast and facilities that make it perfect for guest hoping to hit the slopes with heated boot racks and ski hooks. The rooms themselves are well decorated with a number of plug sockets and comfortable beds, our particular room was a small double with balcony and mountain view. This was great to sit out of an evening or morning and have a drink. You're also within walking distance of a number of restaurants. The hotel cost us 569.86 CHF which is equivalent to about £510.
