Crystal Worl- RAD ARTIST 2026

Meet Crystal Worl, a mixed media artist based in Juneau, Alaska, whose work bridges ancestral tradition, cultural storytelling, and modern creative tools. Rooted in her Tlingit and Filipino heritage, Crystal draws inspiration from formline design, clan regalia, Chilkat robes, natural color palettes, and the stories passed down through generations. Her work honors the relationship between people, place, culture, and community — while embracing the possibilities of contemporary art and technology. For her Rumpl design, Crystal created a blanket inspired by values of spiritual balance, social interconnectivity, harmony, courage, creativity, kindness, and respect. Through symbols of Raven and Eagle, her artwork invites us to celebrate difference, care for one another, and recognize the strength that comes from community. Whether wrapped around your shoulders, shared with a loved one, used while camping, dancing, resting, or gathering together, this blanket carries a deeper story — one of pride, connection, and belonging.
